Q: What can I bring with my pet when they are being
boarded?
A: Owners may bring special food, toys and bedding.
However, we do try to keep these belongings to a minimum.
Q: Will the kennels and cages be big enough for my pet?
A: The cages are quite spacious for all of the pets.
The "runs" for the dogs are 4 feet wide and 13 feet long.
The cat "caboodles" are interconnecting cages that can be
expanded as needed.
Q: What boarding facilities do you have for cats?
Are the dogs and cats kept together in the same room?
A: Our cat "caboodles" are interconnecting cages with
circular doors to allow for extra room for separate "dining
room" and "bathroom" facilities. The cats are kept in a
separate room from the dogs.
Q: Is there anyone there overnight ?
A: We have an overnight technician most nights. In
addition, there is other staff that on the premises very late at
night and very early in the morning.
Q: What happens if my pet gets sick or won't eat while
being boarded?
A: If your pet gets sick, our veterinarians will examine
your pet and call you with their findings. Testing and
treatment can be quick and efficient. If your pet won't
eat, we have various types of dog food and cat food to try.
If all else fails, we will try "people food".
Q: Can I have my dog walked outside while it is being
boarded?
A: Yes, you may have your dog walked outside up to two
times per day. There is an extra charge for this service.
Q: Can I have my pet bathed while it's being boarded?
A: You may request any
grooming service while your pet is here.
Q: How do you handle aggressive boarders?
A: We handle aggressive animals with great care and
concern. Our dog runs are divided, so we can feed and
clean one area while the dog is in the other area.
Aggressive cats will be handled as minimally as possible.
Our staff may need to wear leather gloves to prevent biting and
scratching.
Q: What if something happens, and I can't get there on
time to pick up my boarded pet?
A: If you will be arriving late, just let us know by
calling 717-394-5542. There should be no problem in
keeping your pet here longer.
